Purpose Up Introduction
I am here to Purpose Up, and to get you to as well.
My mission is to inspire you to break free from what’s holding you back, to live more in tune and to act with more intention. If you’re like me and can’t ignore the calling to do something more meaningful, to help people, and take the risk to live fully, then Purpose Up is for you. It’s is a call to action.
This platform is here to help you find and act on purpose. I will investigate, curate and analyze through my blog and podcast.
This project started with me asking myself the question, “What is my purpose?” It seemed daunting and overwhelming when I just sat with it. I knew I needed to take action, to talk to people who are living their purpose. The podcast is all about sharing my conversations and journey with you. Along the way my goal is to provide you with inspiration and actionable strategies along the way. This podcast is a way for me to Purpose Up, and I hope this helps you find ways to live with more purpose.
I have a passion for self-evolution, and want to share that with you. For over 20 years I have been a student of psychology, personal development and mindfulness, and now start my path as a curator, writer and coach. I am a seeker of knowledge and look to answer the questions:
- How can I serve others most effectively with depth and scale?
- How can I inspire people to live more fully?
- How can I improve myself?
I love to self experiment and challenge myself, whether it be a marathon, a mountain to climb or plant-based diet and want to encourage the same for you. I’ve have spent many years working on myself, working through past traumas, addiction, and general unease in my own skin and my path in life. I want to share what I’ve learned along the way to help you.
Since I graduated from Tufts University with a degree in psychology, my career path has evolved from producing documentaries and commercials, to online production, product management as well as formal life coach training. I draw from my experiences working with top corporations, learning the latest agile methodologies and life coaching to deliver you the best ideas and execution from my heart and soul.
To enrich my spirit, I travel, hike, paint, read, write and produce content. To nourish my body, I meditate, eat plant-based, lift weights and run.
In 2011, I realized a dream of traveling the world, left my day job behind and traveled the world for 8 months. It was an an epic trip starting with Kilimanjaro and ending with Everest base camp. I documented it on my travel blog End of Yearning.
I currently live in N.Y.C. with my lovely wife Nicole.
