Ep 25 – Loving Meditations – Bringing Mindfulness to Cancer

In this episode we feature David Dachinger and Tamara Green of Loving Meditations. They have an amazing story. David is a featured author, fire lieutenant and Grammy nominated composer. He is also a survivor of stage-4 cancer. Tamara is an author, speaker and trainer, dubbed by Elle Magazine as “The Soul centered Psychotherapist and Meditation Facilitator.”

In this episode they relay the story of David’s diagnosis, the chaos that ensued, and how they brought mindfulness into the healing process. David’s healing was remarkable, and they attribute much of his results to both of their mindfulness practices. They also recognized the need for stress reducing tools in cancer treatment, and this inspired their current mission.

Together, this married couple creates mindful wellness stress reduction programs to empower cancer patients, survivors and caregivers with self-love and self-care on their healing journey, from diagnosis to survivorship. Cancer is something that touches all of our lives, and I love this couple’s story and mission to help cancer patients and caregivers reduce their stress, anxiety, pain and discomfort.
